UPDATE: The visitation will be Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 from 4-5 pm, then 6-8 pm. Funeral is Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at 10 am. Both the visitation/viewing and the funeral will be at Oakey’s South Funeral Home on Brambleton Ave, Roanoke, VA.
Bob Hardin, one of our long-time members passed away peacefully this morning.
With his wife, Ginny, and son David, the Hardins have been among the most active of all Roanoke Tea Party members, participating not only in RTP meetings and events, but also the Roanoke County Republican Committee. They also hosted educational courses, and a Tea Party prayer meeting each month.
Bob Hardin was a true Patriot who loved this country deeply, and his presence will be deeply missed as we continue to fight for a return to Liberty as intended by our founding.
We will post funeral details here as they become available. In the meantime, the Board of Roanoke Tea Party extend warm thoughts and prayers to the Hardin family.
